 Randy Singh  3/17/25  Ms. Wang  Multi-media Art       The Starry Night  The classical painting the Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh is an eye satisfying masterpiece that uses movement and emotion through its swirling brushstrokes and dynamic composition. The painting uses line, texture and contrast to create an appealing and expressive feeling allowing a sense of rhythm and energy. The night sky is filled with swirling blue and vibrant yellow, which is contrasted by the darker tone of the villages located below. This allows for the viewer's eye to be caught by the vast colors and shapes that are displayed on the paintings while also allowing them to develop a mood from it. This interplay of light and dark embodies the principle of contrast, enhancing the dreamlike quality of this art piece due to the color choice.   Glow : I was able to use all the functions of photoshop to make this which allowed me to make this. Grow: I have to memorize what each function does on photoshop to make it quicker. I learned how to use photoshop to make many different things. 

  The subject of this poster is the Lamborghini SVJ. The slogan we used is “Fast Like Lightning.” My poster has 3 layers. The first is the background, the second one is the purple overlay and the last one is the yellow overlay.

  I made this by making the background a light blue color first. After I had written my name in a font that I liked and had chosen to make them shapes. After I had overlapped it and had chosen to remove the overlapped layers. After this I had included a picture of a basketball and had removed the background.

  This was the ice cream with the earth melting and the sun which are the main components of the flyer. The test was “ Save the earth before it completely melts which is arched above the ice cream cone. I used the horizontal because it fit best with the idea that I had. I had also made it an arc to make it look good and fit in properly around the cone.

  I had adjusted the brightness of the picture to negative 50 so that it would be darker. I had adjusted the background of the image to make it tinted by changing the hue.  I had put a white background of the image so that it was able to stand out.  I had to use the brush option to make the background brighter and to take out the blur.  I had removed the background of this picture.  This was hard because I don't remember what each tool does and how to use it so it took a lot of trial and error to do this project. I also took a lot of time since I had to figure out what I wanted to do.
